"Buddy, it's been days where have you been?"
"Why did something happen?"
"It's Liam and Clara they are at it again"
"What do you mean they do it again? Don't tell me they are fighting again"
"Yes they are, and I don't know what their problem is"
"Who is at fault this time? Clara or Liam"
"At first it was Liam now Clara I think they are both at fault this time, I went into Clara's room to talk to her about what's wrong and told her to go to him that he is losing his mind and breaking stuff immediately she heard that she ran upstairs to him, only for her to come down and ran into her room and began sobbing nonstop. I needed you here buddy"
"When did this incident happen?"
"Two days after you left"
"Hmm, that's serious. Okay, I will let her sob this afternoon then I will go talk to her in the evening. How about that?"
"Whatever you think will work," Eric said feeling dejected
"Calm down will you Buddy, you have always been the happy one around here. No need to act worn out am back let's enjoy our afternoon"
Due to what Eric was thinking he didn't notice the bags Gabe brought with him. It was after he was assured that the issue on the ground will be resolved, only then did he notice that Gabe had some huge bags with him.
"Yo, Gabe, who owns all of these bags?"
"Apparently I am here to stay with you my fated mate," Gabe said teasingly.
"Wait, are you serious? What about your alpha and pack?
"Why don't we sit down so I can tell you about it?"
"Sorry my badam listening"
"My Alpha, Alpha Xavier sent me to be here he said my destiny is to be here, that I am fated to be by Alpha Liam's side as well as you. That since Clara is having a hard time accepting the fact that she is to marry Liam Then it's my job to make her get used to it and that they needed to get mated really soon to avert something big from happening to either of them"
"Are you serious? Avert something big from happening to them both like what Gabe?" Eric asked with all seriousness.
"The only thing he told me was this word for word. In the line of Alphas, if a Luna doesn't marry an alpha within 3 years it could mean great turbulence for either one of them or both of them later in life or the pack will be in grave danger after the time given. That's why we would need to make her get used to our kind and accept us so they can both get bonded. That was why Alpha Xavier sent me here so that I can watch over them for him and if possible stay here for good." Gabe said
"That's a lot to take in. How do we get those stubborn two to make up to avert this danger? Should we tell them about it?" Eric said
"About what?"
"The danger"
"What? No way, Eric came on if we told them about it and they eventually got married because they wanted to avert the danger. It would be like a forced marriage in the eyes of Clara. So the only thing that we have to do as their friends, our only job is just to create opportunities for their love to develop naturally so that they can take it from there, themselves" Gabe said with all conviction.
"So our job is to create opportunities for them to be alone, right? How do we go about that?"
"We will need Liam's help. She cares for him and loves him am sure with time she will give in and am sure she wouldn't want him to be in danger and so she'll do anything for him." Gabe said.
"So how do we go about that?"
"Relax Eric, Clara is my friend too"
"Fine I will relax it's so good to see you here"
"I'm glad I'm a back cutie," Gabe said, acting like a girl.
"Wow!! Hahaha, I am so glad you are here darling. The things we will achieve together would be unimaginable. Thank you for coming through for me Buddy"
"But of course, anytime"
After that Eric helped Gabe with moving in and just as they planned they stayed indoors all day till the evening, laughing and playing cards.
When it was evening, they began working on their plans, Gabe brought a suggestion of letting Liam in on it.
"How do we get Liam to get in on this?"
"I will talk to him tonight," Eric said in a pitiful voice. Cause Liam can be a handful.
"Nice while I try to make Clara's heart soften a little" Gabe said
"Great so how do we go with plan two which is getting them together?" Eric asked because he is really worried for his friend and Alpha Liam.
"I think I have a brilliant suggestion, how about we set both of them up and make sure they settle their differences," Gabe said enthusiastically.
"How do we go about that?"
"Trust me, it will work only if we get Liam in on it"
"If it's to make Clara come to him, then am a hundred percent sure he will be a part of it"
"Good this is what we should do, first, we go talk to both of them then we go to the next phase."
"Great let's get on with it"
So they both left their room and each went in different directions.
Gabe went to Clara's room while Eric went to Liam's.

Knock knock
"Eric just let me be," Clara said thinking it was Eric again.
"Oh really? You think it's Eric huh? So in just four days, I am no longer in your thoughts."
"Gabe?" Clara ran to open the door and she saw Gabe; she jumped on him; she actually missed him.
"Hey, beautiful. You missed me didn't you?"
"I thought you left me behind without saying goodbye to me"
"Come on, why will I leave you alone?"
"Then where did you go?"
"I went to the pack house I needed to see my alpha urgently sorry"
"Fine am glad you are here"
"Hey, beautiful. Why are your eyes like that? It looks as if you've been crying. Were you hurt while I was away?"
"It's nothing"
"Come on I know you are lying to me so talk to me, or have you started keeping things from me as well Clara? Or am I no longer important to you in just the four days that I was absent?"
"Gabe, that isn't it. It's complicated"
"Fine then I better go back to where I was coming from since my childhood friend doesn't want me around," Gabe said and stood up to leave and Clara busted into tears. Gabe could not stand it so he sat back down and hugged her tight. She didn't say a word, she just cried heartily in Gabe's arms.
Gabe felt how hurt she truly is but he has no idea what is going on in her head right now so rather than say a word he sat there with her in his arms, now isn't the time to ask questions but to comfort her. When she is ready to talk he'll be here to listen.
Meanwhile, in Liam's room, Liam is drinking alcohol; he never does that unless he feels down. It's been a long time since he did this. So this incident with Clara must have hurt him so much. He was on the balcony
Eric came in and saw him in this state, he was devastated. He walked up to him. And sat down looking at his friend because he was speechless, so he took another wine glass and poured some into it, and joined him in drinking. After hours of drinking Liam decided to ask what he was doing here because he needs to be alone at this moment.
"Beta, what do you want?"
"Nothing, I want nothing"
"Don't lie to me, what do you want?
'I want you to stop drinking and go get your Luna"
"Enough Eric, not this time. She doesn't want me, she hates my very existence. So if she doesn't want to accept me, then I don't want her either"
This took Eric by surprise, this issue is becoming more and huger each passing second. But he has to do something to stop this issue from escalating more than it already has, so he stood up and broke the glass he was holding on the floor. And began yelling at Liam.
"What on earth is wrong with you both huh? What is all this? You will make up with Clara this instance or am leaving"
"Then Leave Eric, Leave."
"Okay if you say so. I am going back to my family never to return"
Liam knew he was being serious because he has never threatened to leave before.
"Stop Beta, why are you here?"
"I already told you, makeup with your Luna"
"She doesn't want me, Eric, you saw it yourself."
"All I saw was someone who is deeply in love with you"
"Don't lie to me, Eric don't sweet talk me right now"
"It's not sweet talking you, Liam it's the truth"
"Fine let's assume you are telling the truth, how I make her accept me and love me the way I love her"
"We have a plan"
"We? Who is the other?"
"Gabe, he is back and he is talking to her right now for her to calm down, she listens to him"
"So what plan do you have?"
"We are yet to come up with it but we need your cooperation for it to work"
"If it's to get her to love me and to show it to me then I am in"
"Good, that's all I needed to know. Don't ever make me as angry as I was earlier Liam"
"And don't ever threaten to leave me. Don't you ever dare you are stuck with me you get that?"
"Whatever"
"Promise me, Eric, I didn't like what you said"
"Fine I promise"
Eric left and went to his room.
When he got into the house Gabe wasn't in so he must be having a hard time soothing Clara, he thought, and then laid on the bed to wait for him.
Clara sobbed her eyes out and eventually got tired of sobbing and Gabe laid her down on the bed.
Gabe stood up to leave and Clara held him back and said to him,
"Don't ever leave me like that again Gabe"
"I won't, I promise. I will stay right here with you by your side okay? So just be rest assured that I got your back and am never leaving you to yourself again"
"Thank you Gabe am glad you are here"
"So is that all? What's really bothering you? You know I can't leave you like this. So talk to me I'll listen"
"It's about Liam"
"Did he hurt you while I was away?"
"No it's more like I hurt him, I really regret it but I don't know how to apologize to him and let him know how sorry am"
"What did you do to him?"
"I kind of hurt his feelings, and I am really trying all I can to accept him but I can't seem to do it. But..."
"But what Clara, what"
"I love him Gabe that's the thing I love him so much"
"Have you tried talking it out with him?"
"Whenever I face him, I view him as a monstrous being. Even though I know he is a great person but I just can't accept him as my husband to be"
"Why don't you stop viewing him as a werewolf and start seeing him as a human, the one you fell in love with?"
"It's not that simple"
"It is Clara, you are just making it hard for yourself here. You are thinking too much, yes he is a werewolf but what is love if you don't like every part of him? You can't say you love him when you always call him a monster Clara. Give him a chance to prove himself to you that he isn't, give him a chance to show just how much he loves you, Clara, please do it for me if not for me, do it for your heart. You are feeling so much pain in your heart right now Clara, So do it for you. Come on, go to bed, I'll see you tomorrow."
With that Clara hugged Gabe and they bid each other goodnight.
After which Gabe went back to his room for the night.
