I took a taxi to his company.
I thought I'd have so much to say to him.
But when I saw him, the words wouldn't come out.
"You really came?"

"Leander," I said, locking eyes with him, "It's not your fault. Being sick is not your fault."
The day we broke up, he stood in the rain for a long time.
If only I had looked back then.
If only I had seen the vulnerability and helplessness in his eyes.
He had never intentionally left me, but I had truly abandoned him.
The evening breeze was cool, carrying the clean, woody scent that clung to him.
His emotions churned, suppressed and restrained, in the depths of his eyes.
Leander hugged me tightly.
A cool, damp sensation brushed against my cheek.
It seemed he was crying.
