Chapter 10

　　Three days passed quickly while I was away on the business trip.
　　Before I left, I had told Sebastian that the trip would be three days, so when I called him in the morning, he probably thought I was coming back soon.
　　He even pretended to be serious and asked if he should pick me up at the airport.
　　It wasn't that I was trying to tease him.
　　I stood by the hotel's floor-to-ceiling window, speaking slowly and casually, "The original three-day trip has turned into five days. After that, it depends on how things go."
　　He responded, "Got it."
　　Not a single unnecessary word?
　　But who am I?
　　I could tell from Sebastian's voice that he was really angry.
　　I decided to tease him:
　　"Honey, we haven't seen each other for three days. I really miss you."
　　There was silence on the other end of the phone, only Sebastian's somewhat disordered breathing.
　　"But it's getting late, you should get some sleep. I'm hanging up."
　　I placed the phone on the nightstand, then jumped onto the bed and started laughing uncontrollably.
　　I could already imagine the expression on Sebastian's face right now!
　　The Next Morning
　　I was woken up by a knock on the door.
　　I thought it was my male colleague asking me to join him for breakfast, so I put on my coat and walked over to open the door.
　　But when I opened the door, I was shocked to see Sebastian standing outside.
　　I:?
　　Could he teleport?
　　Sebastian's deep eyes locked onto my face as he took a step forward:
　　"What did you mean by what you said last night?"
　　I looked up at him, still a little slow from just waking up. My mind was lagging behind:
　　"Hmm? What did I say?"
　　I could clearly hear Sebastian's thoughts:
　　[I don't care, I'm here now, and she definitely can't just kick me out, right?]
　　I almost wanted to laugh.
　　Is this still the aloof Sebastian that everyone sees?
　　I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck:
　　"Do you miss me?"
　　Sebastian didn't say a word, but his thoughts were loud and clear:
　　[I miss you! I miss you so much!]
　　His thoughts hit me like a shock wave, ringing in my ears.
　　I bit my lip, pretending not to hear his thoughts: "You don't miss me? Well, then I don't miss you either."
　　After saying that, I pulled my arms back and turned to walk into the room.
　　Sebastian suddenly grabbed my arm.
　　He nodded: "I miss you."
　　I stood on tiptoe and kissed him on the lips:
　　"That's your reward."
　　Hmph, still couldn't win him over?
　　Sebastian's heart was overjoyed:
　　[She kissed me! My wife is so soft and sweet! All the effort to catch a last-minute flight was worth it!]
