Chapter 10

　　Lucas was setting up a meal on the table.
　　I originally came in with anger, but seeing him carelessly open the meal with his injured hand, carefully picking out the cilantro, and then peeling shrimp...
　　I could almost imagine the horrible situation under the bandage.
　　I rushed over and pushed him back into the wheelchair.
　　"Truly, I must've owed you something in my past life."
　　"Seraphine, you're back."
　　Lucas had a bright, obvious smile on his face, gently watching me as I served him his food.
　　Then he seemed to think of something, and his gaze darkened.
　　"Seraphine, do you want to leave?"
　　"I just want to go buy something."
　　My heart started to race.
　　It had only been three months, and he was already running full speed down the path of obsession. It was terrifying.
　　I knocked his forehead lightly.
　　"I'm a person too, I need to go out, get some fresh air, and buy things. You surely don't want me to be monitored everywhere, right?"
　　"If you want, I can be controlled."
　　His eyes showed serious intent, and he spoke more excitedly as he went on.
　　"Seraphine, you could place a tracker and a listening device on me. You can watch everywhere I go, hear every conversation I have. If I say anything to upset you, you can punish me..."
　　He even shivered with excitement as he spoke.
　　I stared at him for two seconds, feeling disgusted, and turned to vent to the system.
　　"What is this worldview? Isn't he just a complete psychopath?"
　　"Be careful," the system responded slowly.
　　"What he just said, it seems like he wants to do those things to you."
　　A chill ran down my spine in that moment.
