It must have been six months since they started this.
This lady was quite amazing.
I couldn't help but steal a few glances at her, watching her eyes squint into a smile, her expression gentle. Even in the shade, she patiently held the umbrella for Damien.
The umbrella tilted towards him, unfazed by the scattered sunlight falling on her face.
Beside her, Damien was not so patient.
He cast an impatient glance at me, his eyes landing on my mask:
"Looking like that, and still causing love story, really has no standards."
Julius immediately became angry and was about to argue, but I tightly held him back:
"Don't be rash."
He turned around, his beautiful eyes full of grievance.
The words I wanted to say were caught in my throat.
The pretty lady stepped in to smooth things over: "It's been six or seven months since I last saw you. Why haven't you gone home to visit?"
"I've been busy with my studies..."
"How busy can it be?"
Damien sneered: "When you're in a relationship, you forget about everything else."
"That's not a very nice thing to say."
The pretty lady tried to stop him.
Damien glanced at her, then curled his lips:
"Speaking of which, it's been six months."
"Feels pointless. Just break up already."
"Damien..."
He finished his words and didn't look at her again, walking away.
As he passed by me, his gaze fell on the shoulder where Julius and I were in contact, and his mood seemed to darken.
