The hospital followed a similar pattern, with about ten doctors and over fifty nurses employed.
The hospital's medications were cutting-edge and available in unlimited supply.
The doctors could even conduct their own research to tackle more diseases.
Compared to the school, the hospital was much busier, as there were still many patients.
During my visit, a doctor approached me with a suggestion: "Boss, could we allocate more space and set up a few additional research labs?"
I raised an eyebrow. "Hmm?"
"There are many pre-apocalypse scientists in our paradise. I believe that with the right resources and space, they could develop a cure for the zombie virus. It would be a groundbreaking achievement for humanity!"
I didn't agree immediately but mentally consulted the system. "What do you think?"
After some deliberation, the system replied, "Approved."
"Alright, I'll construct a research institute next to the hospital for the scientists to use."
"That's fantastic!" The doctor's face lit up with joy. "Thank you, boss!"
The last stop on my tour was the training base.
Designed by the system, the training base was meant for those with weaker abilities to strengthen themselves, enabling them to fight more zombies and earn more crystal cores.
The training base looked enclosed but featured holographic simulation scenarios inside. It allowed people to practice their abilities and even simulate fighting zombies.
This was the most popular facility.
All the training rooms were fully occupied, with many others waiting in line outside.
To my surprise, I spotted Frederick and his team.
"You're training here too?"
"Yeah, Boss."
When they saw me, their eyes immediately lit up. "These training modules are so innovative. It feels like playing a game, and we're getting stronger! Everyone loves it."
"And defeating the AI even earns us points! It's not much, but it's better than nothing. Everyone's really motivated!"
I hadn't known about this feature, so I asked a few more questions.
One of them pointed to a large screen in the hall and said meaningfully.
"Look, there's even a leaderboard for points. Our captain is ranked number one!"
