Frederick stopped in his tracks, looking at me in confusion.
He was never a talkative person, and three years in the apocalypse had made him even more cold-hearted, but he was still approachable.
I asked him, "Where are you going?"
"I'm going back to the base to grab some things, and...," his long eyelashes fluttered, "I have some friends at the base who aren't eating well or dressing well. I plan to invite them to stay at the Paradise Resort with me."
All resources in the park cannot be taken out for others; to give something to friends, they would have to check in themselves.
In recent days, some people had tried to invite their friends or relatives.
But the journey was long, and the temperature, zombies, and human nature posed uncertain dangers. They feared something might happen to them on the way.
Secondly, the others might not believe them. After all, seeing is believing, and since the paradise's goods couldn't be taken out, it was easy to waste effort.
Attracting customers this way had very little effect.
I stood up and said to him, "I'll go with you."
He looked around the lobby in surprise. "What about your hotel?"
This posed a problem for me.
Although the hotel could be fully automated, having no administrator present could give off the impression of being owner less, tempting people to harbor malicious intentions and ultimately reducing the number of guests.
While I was contemplating this problem, the system issued a new task: "Ding! New Task: Recruit two staff members. Rewards: Unlock two staff suites, a universal backpack, and a small vehicle."
I smiled slowly. "Now that's a solution."
