Chapter 13

　　Eventually, all eight checked in.
　　Aside from the couple, the other six were young and had plenty of crystals but didn't exchange all of them for points.
　　Cindy, looking much more energetic, greeted me as she headed out to hunt zombies. Passing through the lobby, she paused and frowned slightly.
　　"Alaster?"
　　"Cindy?"
　　She bumped into the man who had asked me a question, and they spoke in unison.
　　At the same time, I noticed the woman named Marry, who was with Alaster, eyeing Cindy warily.
　　After calling his name, Cindy averted her gaze with a grim expression. Before leaving, she leaned in and whispered to me, "Manager, I know you're strong, but be careful with Alaster. He's bad news."
　　I nodded to show I understood.
　　I had the system display all the resort's facilities on the LED screen in the lobby.
　　As soon as the newcomers received their cards, they rushed to the kitchen.
　　Even though there were only three dishes available, they ate heartily. The couple couldn't stop praising, "We definitely made the right choice coming here."
　　This place wasn't exactly remote; plenty of people passed by during the day.
　　Bored, I leaned on the front desk and glanced outside, noticing someone lying on the ground.
　　It was nearing noon, and the scorching sun had driven the temperature to at least 60 degrees Celsius.
　　The person lay motionless, their condition unclear.
　　As I stared, the person suddenly rolled over. The moment I saw their face, I asked the system, "Can I save them?"
　　"Of course. It's entirely up to the Host. However, to stay in the hotel, they must have points. Additionally, the Host is free to go outside to promote the hotel and bring in guests. The system will ensure your safety."
