One person added, many more things need to add in home.
After sending her emails, Estelle took PWL-000 to the men's wear counter to pick out clothes, bought him shoes that fit, and even went to the home ware section to buy socks and underwear.
PWL-000 asked again, "I really can't go without clothes?"
The answer was, "No."
PWL-000 had a broad frame; wearing Aiden's suit in the morning didn't fit well, making him look like a hermit crab in a cramped shell.
Now dressed in loose casual wear, he looked much fresher and more presentable. Estelle observed him for a moment – young and clean, like an inexperienced college student – then said nothing and turned to pay at the counter.
"I like this outfit," PWL-000 said.
"Good, I'm glad you like it," Estelle said. "More comfortable than the suit, isn't it?"
"Definitely. And it's also my favorite color."
"Do robots have favorite colors?" Estelle didn't recall such settings for THG female robots.
"Yes," PWL-000 nodded. "I like gray and white, although I don't know why."
Estelle shrugged it off with a smile. "There doesn't need to be a reason to like something."
A light sensor scanned her iris with a beep, completing the payment from her electronic account. A salesperson came over to remove the price tag from PWL-000. He bowed slightly, his neck exposed, like a gentle and docile stag.
"How old are you?" Estelle asked.
"26," he answered.
26 years old.
The tag removed, PWL-000 looked up. "What's wrong?"
"Oh... Nothing." Estelle came back to herself and said slowly, "I'm 34 this year. I used to have a friend who died at the same age as you. It's been eight years already."
Comparing him to someone who had passed away would seem unlucky if she told others, but PWL-000 was a robot, and robots wouldn't care about such things.
PWL-000 asked, "Is the friend you mentioned the founder of Stella Technology?"
"How did you know?"
"Just a guess," PWL-000 said. "We've known each other for less than a day, yet you mentioned the founder's death and now this friend. Analyzing and processing relevant information is part of my programming."
Estelle remained silent. After a pause, PWL-000 asked, "Was he important to you?"
Estelle suddenly laughed but didn't answer. Instead, she said, "Gavriel Edward is quite interesting. The robots he makes actually inquire about their owner's private life."
"Who is Gavriel?"
"He's the head of Team Ⅱ in the Engineering R&D Department at Stella Technology, my peer. He's in charge of the PWL development project – your creator."
Information quickly formed a network in his mind. PWL-000 recalled the man. People usually just called him Manager; and his name was Gavriel.
He nodded. Estelle picked up the garment bag and tossed it into his arms. "Let's go."
PWL-000 caught it nimbly and quickly followed her. "Where are we going?"
"To Stella Technology. I need to see Aiden."
The new product experience exhibition for THG female robots hadn't ended yet. It was evening, and the first-floor exhibition hall of Stella Technology's building was still bustling with people.
Estelle led PWL-000 to the tea break corner in the exhibition hall. "Wait here. I'll be back down soon."
The long table was filled with various pastries and drinks. PWL-000 asked, "Can I eat these?"
"You don't have an excretory system or digestive enzymes. If you don't want to clean out your stomach, don't eat."
PWL-000 pursed his lips silently. Estelle turned around, took a few steps, and then came back. "By the way, PWL hasn't been developed successfully yet. Theoretically speaking, there shouldn't be any male robots on the market right now. So, don't talk randomly and don't get discovered."
Estelle walked towards the elevator. The metallic walls reflected the surroundings, shining like a dream.
Her gaze swept past the reflection, and she saw PWL-000 sitting quietly and obediently on a sofa in the corner of the exhibition hall, looking somewhat lost and pitiable.
Estelle couldn't help but smile.
It had to be admitted that PWL-000 was very eye-catching.
With his tall and slender figure and handsome face, he stood out in a regular crowd, let alone at an exhibition for THG female robots.
After all, most of THG's target customers either had serious physical defects or were middle-aged seeking excitement. Obese, greasy, aging, ugly... in comparison, a young man like PWL-000, with his striking appearance, seemed even more out of place.
Estelle watched his clean gray hoodie. Then the elevator doors closed, and PWL-000 disappeared from her sight.
The elevator moved silently upwards. For no particular reason, she remembered the continuous autumn rain in the city, the sound spilling out of the bedroom into the hallway. When she opened the door, she saw misty fog covering the window.
"Ahh... honey..."
That was a THG female robot, lying on the bed, blushing and biting her lip.
Later, when THG received Aiden's physiological signals, she initiated the corresponding program. Aiden stiffened, and then the air gradually became quiet.
Estelle stood quietly by the door. THG wrapped her arm around Aiden's neck. "Honey, you are so great."
Aiden pushed her away, his expression normal. He turned to Estelle and explained, "THG has been released. The sales department sent me a sample to try out. Estelle, when negotiating business in the future, it wouldn't make sense if I hadn't tried our own products."
Estelle was silent, staring at a dark red stain on the sheets for a long time.
"Does THG have this too?"
"Of course," Aiden wiped his hands and smiled. "Men always have their preferences. Desire for women, who wouldn't want a virgin?"
