On the couch, his hand rested on her waist. It seemed like a protective gesture, made in a moment of panic to keep her from falling, but it also felt like he was holding her captive in that small space.
Jamie's handsome features were shadowed by her own. His slightly tilted face was at an angle that made her heart race. His long, deep-set eyes were too intense to meet. Her gaze quickly dropped, landing on his perfectly shaped, petal-like lips.
The scent of wine mixed with orange permeates the air around, Sara's nose is filled with his scent, the wine scent is faint, the orange scent is not strong, but it penetrates straight into her heart and disrupts her emotions.
Her throat felt inexplicably itchy, and Sara swallowed hard. In the next second, she saw those lips part slightly, releasing a deep, mesmerizing voice that called her name, over and over, each time lower and more enchanting than the last.
Her body's temperature is rapidly rising, even though she has drunk less than half a cup of wine, she seems to be drunk.
"What did you lie to me about?" His voice was especially soft. "Was it that day in the field when you wanted to kiss me but said you were just trying to wipe my mouth?"
felt like her brain had completely shut down. All she could see were his lips, and all she could hear was his voice. She nodded in response to his words.
"Yes..."
I think you're feeling pretty tempted to kiss me right now," Jamie's lips curved slightly, edging closer subtly and whispering, "aren't you?"
Sara lowered her head and answered him with her actions.
Jamie's lips were softer than she had imagined, like jelly and marshmallows, and also better to kiss than she had imagined. Just having them pressed together made it hard to pull away.
When their lips touched, she seemed to hear a faint chuckle, but upon closer listening, there was only the sound of her own disordered breathing. Jamie must have been startled, and remained motionless.
Sara just quietly kept her lips pressed against his, trying to calm her racing heartbeat. Although it didn't help much, it gave her just enough clarity to slightly pull her lips away.
Reluctantly, she prepared to withdraw, only to have a warm object lick her lips the next moment. As she opened her mouth in surprise, it quickly slipped into her mouth, gently yet assertively exploring every corner.
It was his tongue.
For a brief moment, her heart stood still, then began to race even faster. Any remaining sense of reason was thrown aside as Sara wrapped her arms around his neck, responding to his kiss clumsily but passionately.
The taste of orange in her mouth, had Jamie just brushed his teeth in the bathroom? Why did he even brush his teeth? Sara felt a little disoriented, but before she could figure out what was going on, Jamie grabbed her by the back of the head and deepened the kiss.
As their lips and tongues intertwined, their mingled saliva created lewd, silvery strands whenever they momentarily parted. Their breathy gasps filled the air with intense intimacy. Sara's lower back ached from the kisses, and a familiar yet strange sensation pooled in her lower abdomen, leaving her body aching and longing for relief.
"Mm...ah..."
A seductive moan spilled out, and both of them paused for a moment. Sara couldn't believe that the sound just came out of her own mouth. Her brain quickly cleared, and she pulled her hand back that was clutching the man's neck and pushed his chest to stop the kiss.
"Wait, I... we can't do this..." Sara was very frustrated. How could she just give in to the temptation?
Jamie's 's long lashes lowered, and the desire in his eyes quickly faded. He panted heavily, trying to steady himself. When he looked up again, his eyes were clouded with a drunken haze. His voice was hoarse, confused and perplexed, "Why not? Aren't we dating?"
"Well... it's just..." Just after kissing him, Sara couldn't bring herself to say that she didn't actually like him. The situation was now even worse than it started. She didn't know what to say, stammering for a while. With a couple of awkward sounds, she tried to get off his lap. "It's complicated, I..."
"Don't leave." Jamie urgently grabbed her hand, with his eyes reddened and looking as if he had suffered a great deal of grievance.
Sara immediately froze, asking worriedly, "What's wrong?"
He guided her hand downward, his eyes glazed and unfocused. His voice was shaky as he said, 'Your kiss... it's making me feel so restless.
Her hand rested on his crotch, and she could feel the hardness of his sexual organ through his pants.
