Sunlight filtered through the thin curtains, casting a glow on the room. On the ceiling hung a lamp shaped like the famous mouse that was popular worldwide during childhood.
Sara stared at the cartoon character for a long moment before sighing. "I should've kept my eyes closed a bit longer." Just a little more and she could have...
She quickly shook her head, scolding herself. "Sara, you are something else, dreaming like that... But I get it, Jamie's body is..."
The sensations from the dream still lingered on her hands. Sara, wrapped in her blanket, rolled around the bed, giggling to herself.
But her laughter stopped when she felt something wrong between her legs. Pulling down her underwear, she discovered it was wet.
She might lack practical experience, but as an adult, she had all the necessary physiological knowledge.
So, she not only had an erotic dream about Jamie but also... got wet?!
Dreaming about Jamie and getting wet in real life were two entirely different things. One was imaginary, the other was real.
For instance, there was a time when Sara was a fan of a celebrity. She would dream about dating and kissing him, with scenes even more thrilling than touching abs.
But she had never woken up like this, with her underwear soaked almost to the point of dripping.
Yet, she didn't feel the same intense passion for Jamie as she had for her idol. Jamie was just a childhood friend she was getting reacquainted with... right?
Feeling troubled, Sara changed her underwear and washed the soiled pair, hanging it out to dry. She still couldn't understand why this had happened.
The confusion lingered even when Jamie came over to help with the weeding.
Jamie sent Sara to sit by the main room door. Preoccupied, she didn't protest and sat in a chair, her gaze fixed on Jamie the entire time.
Her gaze was so intense that Jamie couldn't ignore it. He stopped what he was doing and asked, "What's wrong? Are you still uncomfortable?"
Sara shook her head, then a few seconds later, she bit her lip and nodded.
She couldn't keep things to herself. Seeing Jamie's puzzled expression, she sighed and carefully chose her words. "Have you ever had a strange, illogical dream that affected your body when you woke up?"
Jamie immediately thought of the dream that had been troubling him for two days. He denied it faster than he could think. "No!"
Sara pressed on. "Really? Not even a little?"
"No!" Jamie said firmly and returned to the grass with his sickle. "I have work to do."
Sara saw his righteous expression and felt embarrassed to ask further. She sighed inwardly, convinced that only she had such impure thoughts.
But why was she having impure thoughts about Jamie?
She kept her eyes on the man in the grass. Today, he wore a simple long-sleeved shirt and a wide-brim hat for convenience. Despite his plain attire, the muscles bulging under his sleeves and his handsome features exuded a unique charm.
Sara sighed loudly, finally accepting reality. It wasn't impurity. It was pure attraction. She was simply captivated by his looks.
Jamie, meanwhile, sensed something was off. Why had Sara suddenly asked that question? It couldn't be because she knew about his indecent thoughts. It had to be that she experienced it herself.
Who did she dream about? Could it be him? Or was it another man...
The thought that she might have dreamt about someone else left Jamie feeling particularly annoyed. Just as he pondered how to subtly find out, he heard Sara sigh again.
"What's wrong?" he asked, looking up.
Sara sighed again, her voice weak. "Nothing, just realizing I'm a really shallow person."
Her gaze never left his face. Jamie felt something was up and was about to probe further when loud voices suddenly called out from outside.
