Later, Aria learned the details of Jason’s situation. Nathan had known that Jason was stalking him and had taken precautions. It was only because of her phone call that he got slightly injured.
With video evidence and various business-related incriminations, everything had been handed over to the lawyer. By the time Aria woke up, Jason had already been jailed without the possibility of bail.
Even if bail were an option, he wouldn’t have been able to afford it. Nathan had bankrupted the Claire family and bought their assets at a low price, leaving Jason completely ruined.
Aria didn't feel sorry for him at all. She believed he deserved this fate, especially after killing Nathan in her previous life and attempting to do so again. Jason’s punishment of bankruptcy and imprisonment seemed lenient to her.
When Aria confirmed that Nathan's injuries were minor and didn't require hospitalization, she finally relaxed. She hugged him tightly for a long time, grateful that they could now live a long and happy life together.
So good!
……
A year later, their once-chubby baby had grown into an adorably cute little boy with white skin, big eyes, and rosy lips. Even Leonard’s agent wanted to bring him onto movie sets in the future, but that was out of the question.
Nathan’s company had grown exponentially, far surpassing its success in the previous life, making Aria truly a wealthy lady with plenty of household help. They didn’t need the money from acting gigs.
Leonard, thanks to his successful films, had become a box office sensation, winning numerous awards and eventually being crowned Best Actor. He was now moving into international films. Everyone’s lives were flourishing, filled with happiness and prosperity.
When their little son was a year and a half and able to walk, the long-postponed wedding was finally set to take place.
After giving birth, Aria’s figure had become even more stunning, and her face had acquired an alluring charm, making her look anything but a typical married woman with a child.
This newfound allure attracted many men, much to Nathan’s chagrin. Determined to declare her taken, he planned an extravagant wedding.
Aria's wedding photo shoot took place abroad and lasted several months. Upon returning, they found that their families had already arranged the wedding banquet and venue.
Her college roommates would be her bridesmaids, and of course, she invited her old classmates to the event.
Leonard was the best man, and since Nathan didn’t know many people, Leonard brought his boy band and fellow young stars as groomsmen, which sent the wedding reception into a frenzy of excitement.
As Aria walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, she saw her little son carrying a flower basket almost as big as himself. In the distance, her handsome husband gazed at her with deep affection. At that moment, she felt like the happiest woman in the world.
“Why are you crying, sweetheart?” Nathan asked, gently wiping away her tears with a look of adoration.
“I’m just so happy. Is this a dream? When I wake up, will you be gone?” Aria’s tears flowed even more as she bit her lip, afraid that this might all be a dream.
Nathan leaned down and kissed her lips gently, his touch grounding her in reality. “Feel this. Is it a dream?”
Aria beamed the brightest smile, her happiness evident. “Husband, this isn’t a dream.”
“Of course not,” Nathan said, lifting the ring. “So, my love, can I put this ring on your finger?”
“Yes!”
