Chapter 44

　　Leonard gave a thumbs up. "Aria, with your skills, you could be a stylist on my show!"
　　"Really?" Aria felt a bit tempted. She had never had a proper job in her previous life and wanted to try working now. A change of pace was fitting for a second chance at life.
　　"Why? Are you interested? If you are, I can introduce you to—ow!" Leonard's head was suddenly smacked.
　　Nathan appeared behind them. "Trying to coax your sister-in-law into working? How dare you?" he threatened fiercely.
　　Leonard turned to Aria. "Aria, maybe you should stay home. The outside world is dangerous. Leave the earning to my brother," he said earnestly.
　　Aria sighed. Nathan would never approve of her entering the entertainment industry, given how chaotic it could be. She knew he wouldn't let her go. 
　　"We'll talk about it later. Let's go out and eat first. Our parents are waiting," she said, walking out of the room without waiting for their response.
　　Inside, Nathan glared at Leonard. "If your sister-in-law really go to work in showbiz, you know what that means for you."
　　Leonard sighed heavily. Being threatened by his full brother, he felt cornered, knowing his brother's threats were serious.
　　Nathan followed Aria out, with a dejected Leonard trailing behind. The parents were impressed with Leonard’s disguise and praised Aria's skills, making her feel both embarrassed and pleased.

　　The family went to a high-end hotel, avoiding paparazzi and enjoying their meal in peace. They reserved a large private room, ensuring a relaxing dinner.
　　Aria noticed Leonard’s phone buzzing and saw a message from his manager about several movie offers. One title stood out to her.
　　"Leonard, you got a message," she said, using his real name.
　　Leonard glanced at his phone and smiled at Aria. "Just call me Leo, Aria."
　　Such an intimate form of address didn't bother him.

　　In fact, from the first moment he saw this sister-in-law, there had been no sense of aversion.
　　Instead, he felt a strong affinity with her.
　　"Should I call you Mr. Harrison, the superstar?" Aria teased.
　　Leonard blushed. "No need for that."
　　Nathan coughed lightly. "Let's focus on eating."
　　Aria rolled her eyes at Nathan's jealousy of his full brother. 
　　"Aria, which project are you thinking that I should taking on?" Leonard asked, showing her the list of a few film name, several of which Aria recognized.
　　This could be considered Leonard's first serious venture into acting.
　　The first step was a rather conflicted one.
　　In the previous world, she accompanied him through this turmoil as well.
　　In their previous life, she had encouraged him to take on an idol drama, which boosted his popularity but only earned him temporary fame.
　　This time, she recommended a film she knew had won awards.
　　"Movies?" Leonard looked conflicted. "The progress is slower."
　　"True, but once you hit it big with a movie, you'll be recognized as a serious actor."
　　"Isn't it better to go with a drama? I can gain quick fame."
　　"But you'll only be riding on fleeting popularity. Once your looks fade, so will your career."
