　　The next day.
　　The first thing Aria wanted to do when she woke up was to take Nathan to the hospital for a check-up. She didn’t know how many of those pills he had taken and was worried about the potential harm to his body. Thinking about the last life... had Nathan been taking those pills the whole time?
　　"I haven't taken the pills anymore, honey. Can we not go to the hospital?" Nathan shook his head, his face full of resistance.
　　"No, we have to go!" Aria insisted, grabbing him and trying to drag him out.

　　"Nathan, if you don't come with me, I'll go back to my parents' house today and tell our parents about the pills!" Aria's eyes glared, full of determination.
　　Nathan looked at her for a long moment before sighing lightly. "Alright, I'll go with you."
　　Only then did Aria smile brightly and hug him, nuzzling her head against him. "You’re the best, honey."
　　When they arrived at the hospital, they unexpectedly encountered someone who left Aria in a daze and Nathan with a dark expression.
　　It was her so-called old crush...
　　Aria's memories of this old crush were already very distant. She couldn’t even remember his name clearly, something like Jason? She only remembered that it was a very romantic name, part of why she had fancied him back then, thinking it sounded like a hero's name.
　　"Aria, it really is you." The old crush walked over, his face lighting up with joy when he saw her.
　　Aria raised an eyebrow. She didn't remember having such a good relationship with him.
　　Her gaze slowly moved to the woman standing behind him. Hmm, she looked familiar. Suddenly, Aria remembered who she was. Wasn't this the school beauty?

　　Aria suddenly realized that her old crush had liked the school beauty all along, which was why he had no interest in her.
　　"Hiss~" She sucked in a breath. Her waist had been pinched so hard that the pain were about to drive tears down her face.
　　Aria looked up at Nathan beside her, her face full of grievance.
　　Nathan let out a light snort, pulling her into his arms, his eyes glaring at the old crush defensively.
　　The old crush's eyes turned sharp when he saw Nathan.
　　"It’s me. Are you here with your girlfriend for a..." Aria noticed the school beauty's slightly swollen belly and smiled as she continued, "For a prenatal check-up?"
　　The old crush looked awkward, not answering the question, but instead focusing on Nathan. "I heard from classmates that you got married. I didn't believe it at first because you weren't... I didn't expect it to be true."

　　Although the latter part of the sentence wasn't said, Aria knew what he was implying.
　　Nathan understood Aria very well and naturally knew what that sentence meant. He cast a cold glance at the old crush, like a gust of cold wind, making the old crush feel a chill in his heart.
　　"Yes, we got married, but we haven't had the wedding yet. We'll send you an invitation when the time comes," Aria said, leaning sweetly against Nathan's shoulder.
　　Nathan's mood improved a bit at this.
　　He pulled her closer, saying coldly, "The doctor will be off duty soon. Let's go."
　　"Alright." Aria nodded, then turned back to the old crush. "My husband and I have things to do, so we'll chat another time."
　　Without waiting for a response, they walked off together.
　　The old crush squinted, lost in thought.
　　The school beauty nudged his shoulder. "Jason, what are you looking at?"
　　"Nothing. Let's go," the old crush replied, his face regaining its calm expression.
