Chapter 35

　　Nathan, seeing Aria's flushed cheeks, couldn't help but lean closer and kiss her softly on the cheek, his voice low, "Spoiling you is the best. That way, no one else can handle your temper, and you'll be mine alone."
　　Now, listening to the man who was restrained and abstinent in her previous life, Aria finds him casually uttering affectionate words every now and then in this lifetime.
　　Listening to Nathan's words, Aria felt her heart race. Even though she had heard many sweet words from him in this life, she still wasn't used to it.
　　For some reason, Nathan's voice always seemed to have an alluring power that made it easy to get lost in and drown in its charm.
　　Right now, Aria felt like she was about to die of sweetness.
　　Nathan, not stopping there, nibbled on her ear. "Honey, you must let me spoil you, understand?"
　　"No way!" Aria pushed him away. "You're getting more and more improper."
　　"Having a beautiful wife makes me think of improper things," he said, cupping her face and kissing her lips.
　　Later, when Aria woke up again, it was already dark outside.
　　She felt like she might die of exhaustion at this rate.
　　Aria started wondering if with this frequency, she might end up getting pregnant.
　　Thinking about this, she put her hand on her belly.
　　In her previous life, she had never gotten pregnant. She once suspected it was her issue and secretly went to the hospital for a checkup, only to find out she was perfectly healthy.
　　Yet, despite everything, she had never conceived.
　　This made her wonder if Nathan's little soldiers had a low survival rate.
　　Thinking along these lines, Aria decided to come up with a plan to get him checked at the hospital.
　　With this thought in mind, she got up and dressed in the clothes Nathan had prepared for her.
　　Just as she finished dressing, her phone rang.
　　"Honey, are you awake?" Nathan's voice came from the other end of the call.
　　"Yeah! Where did you go?" Aria asked, surprised he wasn't around.
　　"I'm outside discussing business with friends. I'll be back soon. If you're hungry, heat something up from the fridge. I'll cook something for you when I return."
　　Aria heard Nathan's voice and some background noise, "Alright, don't worry about me. I can cook some spaghetti."
　　She really only knew how to cook spaghetti...
　　In the previous life, although Nathan was cold to her, she didn't do much housework either.
　　When Nathan wasn't around, they had a part-time maid. In the evenings, he would cook, but those occasions were rare.
　　So, Aria felt she had always lived like a wealthy housewife.
　　"Alright, cook a bit more. I'll have some too. I've never tasted your cooking."
　　Hearing that, Aria couldn't help but laugh. She didn't know why, but she felt happy.
　　"Okay! I'll let you taste my cooking!" she replied confidently.
