In the bathroom, Aria hummed happily as she dried herself with the familiar-smelling towel.
But then she sensed something was off…
She suddenly remembered, her whole body freezing.
Her face turned red, unsure if it was from the steam or her thoughts…
After a few minutes, on the verge of turning into a statue, she suddenly covered her face.
She had brought her habits from her past life into this one.
Aria finally realized that she and Nathan were still unmarried, yet she was so casually using his towel. Only she would do something like this.
Squatting on the floor, she let the hot water wash over her back.
She stayed in the bathroom for over an hour before she slowly emerged.
Her eyes darted around nervously, hands clasped together, back hunched, looking very timid.
She thought she’d find Nathan waiting outside, but the living room was empty.
Setting aside her embarrassment, she went to look for him.
Nathan, meanwhile, had gone to the kitchen to wash his face after discovering his nosebleed.
But the more he washed, the more it bled.
The images in his mind only grew more vivid.
“Nathan, what are you doing?” Aria finally found him, puzzled by his constant face washing.
Hearing her voice, Nathan stopped.
He calmly patted his face dry with a towel, discreetly checking his nose, relieved to find it normal.
Always composed, Nathan finally relaxed.
If Aria saw him with a nosebleed, it would be so embarrassing.
“Nothing, just washing my face. You finished your shower?” he asked warmly.
Aria was still in her own clothes. She had planned to use a bathrobe but decided against it after the towel incident.
If she went any further, she’d be truly shameless.
“Yes, you should go take a shower too.”
“Alright, watch some TV while you wait.” Nathan headed to the bathroom.
The thought of showering reminded him of those earlier images, and his nose warmed again as he rushed out.
Aria thought nothing of it, assuming he just wanted to clean up quickly.
She went to the living room and turned on the TV.
In the bathroom, Nathan glanced at the towel rack and saw his towel hanging there.
His body heated up, but he kept his expression neutral.
Calmly, he undressed and turned on the hot water.
Steam filled the bathroom, and soon, soft groans could be heard.
You’d have to be very close to hear them.
When the groans stopped, the hot water turned to cold.
Nathan, his face flushed, slowly dried himself with his towel.
He tilted his head back, his breath heavy, meticulously drying off.
He felt this was the most absurd thing he’d ever done in his life.
Meanwhile, Aria, happily watching a comedy, had no idea what was happening in the bathroom.
She laughed, enjoying the movie comedy film.
She loved comedy films that never get old no matter how many times she watches the most.
