Seeing Nathan’s surprised expression, Aria’s heart skipped a beat.
In their previous life, when she saw their marital home in S Garden, she was overjoyed, thinking that her husband, whom she had married impulsively, had finally done something right.
But now, looking at Nathan’s reaction, she wondered if living in S Garden wasn’t a coincidence but rather because Nathan knew she had always wanted to live there.
Tears welled up in her eyes, and she sniffled, her eyes turning red, "Nathan, you’re so good to me."
Nathan, seeing Aria suddenly tear up, felt a bit panicked. His face, though stiff, softened as he clumsily reached out to touch her face.
"Why are you crying all of a sudden?" There was a hint of pain in his eyes.
Aria herself didn’t know why she was crying. She just realized that Nathan had been thinking about her from the beginning, and she had been unaware of it.
At that time, she kept complaining about this and that about Nathan.
Seeing their parents still chatting, Nathan stood up and took Aria’s hand, leading her outside.
"Where are you going?" Mrs. Harrison asked, watching her son and future daughter-in-law leave.
"It’s stuffy in here; we’re going for a walk."
Nathan led Aria outside the hotel.
Though they had done much more intimate things in their previous life, holding hands didn’t evoke any particular feelings in Aria.
But for Nathan, feeling the soft, delicate hand in his made his heart flutter, his pulse quicken, and a light sheen of sweat form on his palm.
Lost in her thoughts, Aria didn’t notice Nathan’s emotions. She suddenly made a decision.
She looked up at Nathan, her face serious.
"Nathan, I have something very important to ask you."
Nathan, who was still trying to compose himself, found that anything related to Aria or being close to her threw him off balance.
He was caught off guard by her serious expression.
Aria saw that Nathan was still out of it and patted his face.
"Snap out of it."
Feeling her touch, Nathan’s breathing grew heavier. His eyes, deep and dark, looked dangerous.
Aria sensed something was wrong and felt an urge to run.
But before she could act, she found herself enveloped in a warm embrace, with a hot breath on her neck.
"Nathan, someone might see us. Let me go." Aria panicked, reflecting that she hadn’t done anything to provoke this!
"Don’t worry, we’re in a legitimate relationship. It’s fine if people see us." He laughed softly at her nervousness.
Nathan didn’t understand himself. Usually self-controlled, he was surprised by his actions.
At this moment, he found Aria incredibly attractive, even with her heavily made-up face. Her figure also seemed more appealing than before.
Recalling her words about having a good figure, Nathan agreed internally.
Her figure was indeed good; he confirmed that while holding her.
But what about the feel to touch it...
Nathan’s grip on Aria tightened slightly...
