　　Vivienne didn't spare Aria a glance, instead smiling warmly at her daughter, sensing that they are on the verge of becoming a couple.
　　After Aria left, Melanie looked at Vivienne and asked, "Mom, you won't pity her in the future, right?"
　　Vivienne elegantly rolled her eyes. "Melanie, what are you thinking? I'm not a saint. If she came into our Snow family with ill intentions, why shouldn't we defend ourselves? Pity her? Please, do you think I'm a fool??"
　　If they didn't retaliate, they would be the ones getting played. They weren't children playing house. Speaking of which, Leonard did seem to have a blind spot.

　　"The Grants..." Aria paused. "You mean Spencer, the Grant family's heir?"
　　Ethan had given her a rough sketch of the Grants' affairs, mentioning that Spencer controlled most of the family's businesses. If Spencer decided to go after Ethan, it would be effortless. But Ethan hadn't crossed paths with Spencer recently, so why was he involved now?
　　"Aria, I can only rely on you now," Ethan said earnestly. "Get your hands on the Snow family's project proposal as soon as possible. Only then can I use it as a stepping stone to enter the Grant family."
　　Aria agreed, "I understand. I... I'll try again!"
