　　Asher's voice was low, tinged with a chill. "When do you plan on dealing with that illegitimate son of your house, Ethan?"
　　His eyes narrowed, exuding danger from every pore.
　　Spencer scoffed coldly, "What makes you interested in my family's affairs? Has he crossed you?"
　　"Yes," Asher replied, his eyes flashing with ruthlessness. He didn't bother hiding his emotions in front of Spencer. He had thoroughly investigated Ethan in his previous life, and in this rebirth, he intended to eliminate Ethan in advance, preventing him from rising up the ranks.
　　Ethan and Aria, the primary culprits, wouldn't escape his grasp.
　　Naturally, Ethan's ties to the Grant family were tangled and complex. As an illegitimate child who dared to show himself in A City, it was due to the tolerance of Spencer's father. And yet, Spencer despised Ethan to the core.
　　This time, certain matters could be resolved without him needing to get his hands dirty personally. Melanie was safe and sound, and he had yet to give her the happy future she deserved. He wouldn't repeat the bloody path of his past life.
　　Spencer was taken aback. "Ethan has actually caused trouble for you?"
　　Asher elaborated, "Ethan's girlfriend is Aria, who is Melanie's cousin, currently staying at the Snow family. But, Aria isn't content with the status quo."
　　With a smart person like Spencer, hints were enough.
　　Spencer instantly understood Asher's implications.
　　"Ethan is truly fearless, daring to target the Snow family? Your mother-in-law isn't someone to trifle with. Tch, rushing to their doom, then I won't waste time playing games with him."
　　Initially, he had considered giving Ethan some time to see what tricks he could pull off. But with his sights set on the Snow family, to avoid any significant turmoil in the future, Spencer decided it was best to deal with Ethan promptly!

　　Spencer watched him leave, utterly bemused. "One would think there's a treasure in the Snow family!"
　　Asher had never seemed this anxious or concerned before.
　　When Asher returned and informed Melanie, who was holding her phone with a gloomy expression, her mood suddenly brightened. 
　　Without Asher, she doubted she could stomach lunch watching Aria and Ethan together. 
　　She realized she needed Asher by her side to temper her frustrations.
