The cruise ship docked, and the guests of tonight’s engagement party gradually disembarked.
The banquet hall soon emptied, leaving only Jasmine, Ryan, and a few of his friends. Jasmine, having drunk quite a bit, her cheeks flushed with red:
"Ryan, are we going home?"
"No rush."
Ryan smiled, "Today is our engagement party, and I’ve prepared a surprise for you." Jasmine, full of anticipation, said sweetly:
"Ryan, you’re so good to me."
The ship sailed quietly on the sea, when suddenly a wave hit.
Jasmine, in her high heels, couldn’t maintain her balance and fell on the deck.
"Ah!"
Her elbow hit the corner of the railing, breaking a small patch of skin, causing her to cry out in pain.
The tight mermaid dress wrapped around her legs, making it impossible for her to stand on her own.
She looked up at Ryan pitifully,
"Ryan, I can’t stand up.Can you carry me—ah!"
She suddenly screamed, her face turning deathly pale.
Because Ryan had stepped forward, stepping on her fingers and grinding them underfoot. He showed no mercy. Jasmine’s knuckles were crushed and rubbed, quickly becoming a bloody mess.
Jasmine cried and screamed, first cursing, then pleading.
Eventually, she was in so much pain that her body convulsed, sweat beading on her forehead, unable to make a sound.
"Does it hurt?"
"You think you can deceive everyone, even alter my memories, but you seem to have made one mistake."
Ryan looked down at her with drooping eyes,
"I always remember what happened that night."
"I thought she was still alive, that’s why I spared your life."
"How dare you... kill her!"
With the last word, he crushed Jasmine's fingers.
The skin tore, exposing stark white bones and sharp fragments.
Jasmine's voice was shrill, filled with extreme pain and fear:
"It wasn’t me..."
"I didn’t kill her, I didn’t kill her!"
Ryan seemed deaf to her pleas, his eyes devoid of life, but a grim smile floated to the surface:
"She was a bit temperamental, but at least she genuinely considered you a friend."
"How many times did she help you out of trouble?"
"If you wanted something, you could have talked to me."
"Why did you kill her?"
She screamed inwardly, begging the system to isolate her pain.
The only response was a cold mechanical voice:
"Player points reset to zero."
"After re-verification, the game progress is 0%."
"Communication channel closed, good luck Player."
