Chapter 24

　　On the soft sandy beach, I adjusted the brim of my hat and snapped a few photos with my phone.
　　"You are beautiful. Can I get your contact information?"
　　Just as I was pondering a polite refusal, my waist was gently grasped.
　　"Sorry, I am already married."
　　Our eyes met, leaving me momentarily stunned. I turned my head away haughtily.
　　"How did you know it was me? I never said I'd come."
　　"I recognized your silhouette. The one I love, I can identify even from the back."
　　"Why didn't you find me sooner then? I was alone and bored."
　　The man in the floral shirt, having been refused, had already walked away. This person then pulled down my hat further, leaning in to kiss my lips lightly before resting his forehead against mine.
　　"Sooner? Weren't you just stepping onto the beach? I've been longing to see you earlier, but you arrived two days late, and I was about to fly out to your city to visit your pharmacy."
　　"You were planning to leave already?"
　　"Yes, I thought you wouldn't come, so I planned to fly to your city and see your pharmacy instead."
　　"Wouldn't that be a waste? It is a fully-paid ten-day vacation here."
　　"Without you, even the most exciting places lose their luster."
　　Once again, my earlobe was playfully nipped, his affectionate gesture sending a shiver down my spine.
