Chapter 23

　　"Let me keep these documents for now," he said, slipping the divorce papers from my grasp.
　　"I hope you'll reconsider, Hannah. Just remember, I love you, and I want live with you until we were old ."
　　I stepped outside, wandering the streets without direction until my phone rang.
　　"Hannah, are you back yet?"
　　"Cousin, what's up?"
　　"Can you come back quickly? Emma's gone missing, and I can't find her anywhere. Come back and help me search for her."
　　I was stunned—how could Emma have wandered off?
　　"I'll be right back."
　　Thankfully, the accident ended without incident. I rushed back and, before dawn, my cousin and I found Emma asleep in the park.
　　The matter of my divorce with Evan was temporarily set aside.
　　Another half-year passed, and the sky was a brilliant blue that day. I straightened the medicines on the shelves and returned to the cashier's desk.
　　Then, a message from Evan arrived.
　　"Hannah, our team won the grand prize at the recent medical competition, and the hospital has rewarded us with an all-expenses-paid trip to C city for ten days,spouses members are also welcome. Can you come with me, as my plus one?"
　　"Doctor, do you have medicine for a stomachache?"
　　I put down my phone.
　　"Yes, we do."
