Chapter 23

　　Before returning to New York, there were still several minor issues that delayed us for a couple of days.
　　During this short period, Xander could not resist the temptation of sleeping again with me.
　　He promptly purchased a bed and other essential items on bed.
　　Subsequently, he moved from his hotel into the small house I shared with Jasmine.
　　However, when Jasmine saw his father came,she was so excited that she refused to sleep even at eleven o'clock at night.
　　Xander and she had a silent standoff, with him eventually quitting.
　　Moved by the scene, I approached and embraced Jasmine: "It's time to head to your room and sleep."
　　"I want to sleep with Daddy."
　　I gently pinched my daughter's cheek and whispered in her ear:
　　"Do you still want a little brother or sister? Mommy and Daddy need to sleep together for that to happen."
　　Jasmine instantly hugged my neck: "Mommy, I'll go to sleep."
　　At the doorway, Jasmine glanced back at Xander.
　　Sensing somthing wrong, I was about to cover her mouth.
　　But Jasmine had already made an encouraging gesture: "Come on, Daddy.Bring a little brother to me tomorrow!"
