The gun fell from James's hand. Diego men were trying to help Diego but it looked like they'll have to face his killer first. They called the emergency.
One of them raised his head to look at James, he stood up and started walking closer to James, while he was walking the others were following him from behind.
While James was watching them move closer to him, he knew that they were definitely going to kill him. He has been doing wrong things almost all his life but today he finally felt he did the right thing by killing Diego and not taking sides with him.
'I did the right thing." James said to himself as a smile escaped his lips. The punch he received on his belly made him realize he is going to die very soon.
The only thing he regrets is not apologizing to Robert' family for killing his innocent father. James received another punch on his belly.
'Argggg." He shouted in pain, he spat out the blood that was coming out of his mouth. He soon got a kick on his leg and he fell on the floor.
They raised his head and gave him a non-stop punch on his face.
His teeth were almost completely removed by the punches he received on his face. While they were doing all these things to him he did not try to fight back because he knew that this is what he deserves.
He has been doing lots of evil to people though one thing he never did was kill anyone innocent but he killed Robert and that hurt him a lot.
He was given the last punch on his chest. He couldn't breathe anymore. Then he fell on the floor, Diego men left him and walked to their boss to help him.
'What's taking the ambulance long to get here?" One of the bodyguards asked, the other one brought his phone to place a call when they finally heard the sound of the ambulance bus.
James was still struggling on the floor, though his breathing became hard but he was still alive. He tried moving on the floor but he couldn't. He knew he was not going to survive whatever it is that's happened to him.
While they were taking Diego into the ambulance James died. Diego was still conscious so he sighted James on the floor he could tell James was already dead.
While Diego boys were trying to rush the ambulance to leave without James, Diego had a rethink of everything that had happened, how he has been heartless and everything he has always done is for him to be successful and look how he ended.
The ambulance bus was shut without James inside, they left James on the floor. While they were driving Diego to the hospital, he was struggling to survive.
Diego knew he was not going to survive, he wished he could take back the hands of time and correct everything he had done. Diego flashed back to when his dad was dying in the hospital as a result of not being able to afford his operation fee.
His dad begged him to make money and make sure he takes good care of his family. And the last thing his dad told him not to do is to be evil.
Diego closed his eyes and tears welled down his eyes. He knows he has failed himself and his father because of the quest for money.
He opened his eyes and saw everyone in the ambulance struggling to save him before they got to the hospital. Then he remembered again how he killed Mr Augustine who was nothing but nice to him, he helped him even though he didn't know him before but he paid him back by killing him and planning to kill his sons.
Diego realized everything James told him was true; he was doing too much because of his ambition.
'I don't deserve to live." Diego said to himself and wished he could apologize to James for using him in such a horrible manner, and the truth is that he actually considered James a friend and a brother because of how far they have gone together these few periods they were friends.
He regrets telling James all those things he told him a few minutes ago.
'Sir please stop stressing your mind, don't think of anything right now." One of the doctors in the ambulance told Diego. When Diego heard this he smiled, he knew they were just doing their job but he was not going to survive.
'I'm sorry James." Diego said to himself and died. The doctor sat on the chair in the bus weakly. The bodyguard that was with them was wondering what's going on and why the doctor suddenly stopped the treatment.
The driver drove into the hospital, but it was already too late.
'What's going on? Why are you no longer treating him?" The bodyguard asked her, he was hoping it's not what he thinks that has just happened.
'Time of death, 5:23pm'' the doctor said and someone wrote it down. The bus stopped and the doctor got out of the bus.
'What are you saying? My boss is not dead." The bodyguard shouted at the doctor, the doctor did not reply to him nor did she get offended because she knows it's not his fault, he is just hurt that his boss just died.
'Boss please wake up, the doctor is saying nonsense." The bodyguard tried talking to Diego but when he noticed Diego was no longer breathing, he realized he was really dead. He sat on the floor of the bus as tears welled down his eyes.
If Diego could open his eyes he would have been very happy to see someone crying about his death because he feels a lot of people will be happy about his death.
The bodyguard went back to Diego's house and told them about the death of their boss. Most of them were happy because they will be free to go meet their family. The bodyguard went upstairs and opened the room door.
'You can go now." The girl was sitting on the bed, she was shocked to hear what the bodyguard said to her, she turned back to look at him. so she'll be sure he is not pulling her legs.
'What about your boss?" She asked him in a very low and sweet voice. The bodyguard lowered his face and she could tell something had happened to him.
'He is dead." The bodyguard said to her, she rolled her eyes when she heard what he said. She didn't know how to feel about his death. She lowered her head to look at her belly then she put her hand on her belly and started thinking of what to do with the baby.
The girl is Diana, she was taken away from her parents by Diego because her father owed him some money, so she was sold to Diego when she was nine.
She has been his bed mate, he only calls her when he wants to have pleasure at night. Diana got pregnant a few weeks ago as Diego was aware of the pregnancy but he made sure no one else knew about it.
'No. I'm not going anywhere, my baby will take over his dad's legacy." Diana said to the bodyguard. He was shocked to hear her talk about a child. He wasn't happy about it because he has always had a thing for her but since she is carrying his boss' child, he thought it's only wise for her to stay and take care of her baby here.
'You are pregnant." The bodyguard said to her trying to confirm if he heard well. She nodded her head. Though it broke his heart but he did not let it show.
'It's only right for you to raise our boss' baby here, I'll be here for you and your baby as your personal bodyguard." The bodyguard assured her. She stood up from where she was sitting and the thought of stepping out after so many tears made her wonder how the outside world looks like.
While she was walking out of the room, memories of her first day in the house flashed back, how she cried inside the room, and was always yelled at by Diego when she made any mistake.
Diana finally got out of the room and sighed. The bodyguard could understand how she feels because she has been in the room almost forever.
Diana decided that she will never let anyone take her position in this house and she will rule the affairs of the house and change Diego's business into something more legal, so that her child will not have to grow up in such a cruel lifestyle.
She turned to look at the bodyguard and a smile escaped her lips, the bodyguard was shocked to see her smile, for the past ten years that she has been in the house she has never smiled.
'Thank you." She said to the bodyguard with a smile on her face.
James's body was taken back to his house, Diego's men threw James's body into the compound and drove away. One of his bodyguards came out to get something when he sighted a body on the floor from afar.
'Who is that?" The bodyguard asked himself and tried to see the person from where he was standing. He wanted to forget about it but he didn't know why he was concerned about knowing who the person was.
He started walking closer to the opera . He noticed the dress looked like that of his boss but he didn't want to think it's his boss because his boss cannot be lying on the floor.
'When he got to the exact place the person was, he was shocked to see that it's truly his boss that's lying on the floor.
'Boss," the bodyguard called, he was confused trying to think of the reason why his boss would be lying on the floor.
He felt his boss was drunk because that's the only reason why his boss will be lying on the door.
'Boss, please stand up." The bodyguard said and turned James's face to the front he was shocked to notice that the Almighty James is dead.
'What's going on? This has to be a joke." The bodyguard said finding it hard to believe what's going on. He tried waking James up but James did not wake up.
He called the attention of the others, and they were all sure that James was really dead. It was very bad news to them and they wished they could take back the hands of time.
Most of them were sad about his death but some saw it as Karma ‘he who kills must be killed' that's what most of them had in their head that's why they did not really cry about James's death.
They took his body to the mortuary and they were waiting for his family to come pick his body from the mortuary soon. None of James's either was allowed to leave until they got permission from Alpha Andrew because they all felt Alpha Andrew was the next in line.

Alpha Andrew was in his place of work. He had a kind of feeling that he couldn't tell what's going on, but he knew he wasn't feeling okay.
He started wondering if Selena is okay where she is, he tried calling her but she was not picking her call. It was in the process of calling her that he noticed he missed his brother's call two hours ago.
He became scared because he knew his brother might have sided with Diego to kill him too. But he had a feeling his brother would never let anyone kill him because James has proven how much he loves his brother several times.
He tried calling his brother back but he was not picking so he stopped calling.
'I hope he is fine,'' Alpha Andrew said to himself and continued what he was doing earlier.
