Immediately, Danica turned behind, only to find Troy standing with a cute smile plastered on his face.
Danica got up from the couch and rubbed her eyes to see whether it was real or a hallucination. ��Am I so tired that I am dreaming with my eyes open?�� she mumbled to herself.
Troy looked at her in amusement. ��So, I am in your dreams as well, ain��t I?��
��Troy, you are here for real,�� she uttered as if informing herself. ��You�� What brings you here? When did you come? How did you get inside?��
He walked closer to her and wrapped an arm around her waist. ��You ask too many questions. Aren��t you happy that I am here with you?��
��I am���� she whispered. Danica was very happy that Troy was there with her, but she was confused as to how he got here and the reason behind it. So this was the surprise others were talking about, she thought. ��What brings you here though?��
��Dani, how can you think I will let you leave me once again?�� he started, ��My heart said to go wherever I find happiness, peace, and love. You are my happiness, Danica. You give me peace. I love you. Do I need any more reason to follow wherever you go?��
��So, you decided to follow your heart?�� she breathed out, their gazes meeting each other.
Troy nodded and said, ��You are my heart, so I followed you.��
��Troy, I appreciate it but what about your career?��
��I am attending the online classes of Harvard in business as instructed by Dad. So, I can attend online classes by staying here and about my WhyNTube, I can make videos here too,�� he responded.
She said with a smile, ��You have to do it just for a year.��
He arched an eyebrow. ��A year?��
��Yes,�� she spoke up, wrapping her arms around his neck, ��After my senior year ends, I plan to return to California and live in the Rose mansion with our friends. Aziel has agreed on that too.��
��That��s great. We can earn money this year so that we can start our own business once we move back to California,�� he suggested, which she was listening to thoroughly, ��You are studying fashion designing while I am studying in the business field. So, we can work together and create our own business like your mother.��
After giving a thought to the idea Troy proposed, Danica agreed as it seemed a perfect idea, ��We shall earn enough money to begin a start-up. We have a lot of stuff to plan.��
��Okay,�� he mumbled and gave a peck on her lips.
She asked, ��How did you get inside though?��
��I decided to come here before you did so that I could surprise you. I knew Richard had a spare key, so he helped me to get inside,�� he explained to her.
��You intend to live with us now, right?�� Danica inquired to be sure and when he nodded his head, she said, ��Aziel cannot live alone in his room.��
Troy twitched his lips. ��Who said he would live alone? I will stay with him in his room, or do you have any other plans, Ms. Waylon?��
She shook her head, smiling. ��No, I like the plan.��
Troy freed Danica from his grip and pulled something out of his pocket of the denim jeans. He opened the small box and showed the small cut diamond ring to Danica, who gasped.
Was he proposing? She was confused and she didn��t want it to be a wedding proposal, not in that situation at least.
��I know you don��t want to get married right now, neither do I, until we have a fixed occupation,�� Troy started speaking, ��This is a promise ring. With this ring, I promise you that I will always be there for you, against all odds. Come what may, my love for you shall never lessen. Rather it will keep increasing day by day. I promise to keep you safe and sound, along with Aziel. I promise to be yours forever, Danica.��
Her heart melted at that instant, seeing the promise ring Troy intended to give to her. She wondered what good deed she did to get a boyfriend like Troy in her life.
��Will you accept this ring and allow us to make our lives connected forever?�� he asked, slightly scared of her reply.
She chuckled and nodded her head. ��It would be an honor for me.��
Troy grinned and took the ring out of the box, slowly putting it on her finger. After he was done, he kissed her hand. The ring perfectly suited Danica.
��I promise to give you everything you rightfully deserve, even if it is fame,�� he mumbled and pulled her closer to him once again.
She laughed and said, ��I don��t need any fame as long as I am recognized by you, Troy Kingston.��
His lips curled up into a smile when a question got into his mind. ��What if you get fame by accident?��
Danica wrapped her arms around his neck once again and mumbled under her breath, ��You mean, like this?�� With that, she locked her lips with his soft ones, to which he responded happily.
If love was true, then one could overcome every obstacle. Danica decided to return to California after her senior year ended because she wanted to stay with Troy and her friends, who were a family for her. Troy knew it was hard for Danica to make such a choice, so he decided to fix a career with her together. A career, which would be helpful in the future.
Danica wanted to be in a nice profession where she would get praised for her designing skills, and Troy knew that the best way for that was to be the owner of the self-established business. In that way, her skills would be appreciated, and Troy could use his education to be a successful business like his dad wanted him to be.
With the number of fans, Troy and Danica gathered, their business would flourish in no time if they put the effort into it. No one knew a single public kiss would lead Danica Waylon to the path of fame she never imagined. No one knew a single prank would lead Troy Kingston to get his lost love back. Even though the fake relationship had a weird start, it developed into a real relationship. Now every fan uses the hashtag, #tronicaforever.
