CONNOR
I shut my eyes briefly and took a second longer to rethink my decision but I was blinded with so much anger and unrest that I could not even think straight. I opened my eyes and took a deep inhale and exhale and without letting myself think twice, I rang the bell to the hotel room. I swallowed nervously and waited for an answer to my knock and when a minute passed and no one came to attend to the door, I rang the bell again and this time, the door opened almost immediately.
I held my breath as short dark bob hairs welcomed me with the sweetest gentlest smile I had grown used to.
"Hi...Connor?" Tory looked surprised and sceptical about my presence as she draped the bathrobe on her body tighter around herself.
"Hi." My brain warned me this is a crazy idea. Why the fuck did I even think of coming here in the first place?
"Uh...everything okay?" The surprise on her face did not wear off and then I concluded I was just being stupid. I shouldn't be here at all.
"Yea. Yea." I licked my lips briefly. "I just..."
I sighed.
"Are you okay?" The surprise on her face was replaced by a worried look and I nodded sharply.
"Yea. I'm okay. Just wanted to check up on you."
She looked at me critically as if trying to believe my statement. I would not believe such a lame excuse if I was in her shoes either. I mean, what reason would make an ex show up at 10 pm at your doorstep just to say he wanted to check up on you?
"You know...I should get going. It's pretty late..."
"Wanna come in?"
"I...uh..." I stuttered and Tory opened the door wider, shifting her frame aside for me to come in. Seeing that I had no more excuses up my sleeves again, I surrendered my will and smiled in gratitude. She led the way into her room, shutting the door beside her. My eyes scanned the basic one room she had lodged. When I had come for the business conference, I had not the slightest idea that Tory was being hired to work as a cook in the kitchen. So, her presence caught me off guard a little. She had dropped her hotel address with me before we departed, making me promise to come to check up on her before I went back to my place.
But of course, seeing her wasn't the reason I was here. I had no reason to be here. I badly wanted nothing but to escape Kenzie's presence I didn't know where to go but back to the woman who had been my lover and best friend for many years. Yes, that was an insane idea and I hated myself for coming up with that. Now, I felt trapped in my own space.
Tory disappeared to the kitchen, reappearing a minute later with two mugs of hot espresso. She handed me one and I thanked her before taking a gentle sip.
"I must admit, I am quite a in shock from your...unexpected visit." She admitted and took a careful sip of her coffee.
I smiled and eyed her tall lean frame. A bit of her neckline and the valley that divided her moulds were exposed and I recalled those moments when I had traced my tongue around them and planted kisses all over them. They used to be my territory.
Until now.
"How's Kenzie? I remember you said something about coming with her here." She added and I forced a smile.
"She's okay."
We stayed in complete silence for a minute until she broke the quiet again, dropping her mug on the table before her.
"So...tell me. Why are you here?"
I wet my lips as I searched through my head for an answer. I slapped myself inwardly. How could I be so dumb to appear before her without at least a plan?
"I wanted to check up on you before I left..."
"Did you miss me?" She was eyeing me now and I gulped, feeling a bit on edge.
"I..."
"I've missed you too." She slowly rose from her seat and took carefully calculated steps towards me, her fingers travelling to the straps of her bathrobe.
I gulped and cleared my throat.
"Yea...Uhm..."
"You came here for this didn't you?" She began to unfasten and my stomach burned with the unwanted intensity in the room. I shifted a little uncomfortably in my seat.
"Tory. I didn't come for this..."
"Prove it." She released the rope, letting the robe open to expose all her front matters. Her boobs were still as perky and perfectly rounded as I had known them to be and her pussy was clean-shaven. The way she always trimmed it. I could feel my cock rise in a boner and I looked away immediately, my eyes now facing the floors.
"Tory. Please put back your clothes."
She only replied with a cunning chuckle and the next second, she was placing her weight on my leg and I felt the softness of her ass kiss my thighs. She lifted my face gently to look back at her and I stared back into her eyes while she maintained her smile.
"Resist me."
"Tory..."
But her hands were already travelling to my zipper and she planted a brief kiss on my lips. She succeeded in unzipping my trouser and her hand made to work its way inside but I was quick to hold it back.
"Please....stop."
"Why?" She asked with a sly grin. "Cos you're being faithful to your fake girl?"
My girl. Kenzie.
My accelerated heartbeat came to a slower pace and I felt as though I had come into this place in a trance and bewitched by Tory's charms. But hearing Kenzie's name again was enough to break the spell and this time, my heart beat new.
I raised her from my body in a splint of a second and I zipped back my trouser as I stood before her. Tory had a confused look on her face now while a small smile crossed mine.
"You are right. I have to be around my girl. I have to be faithful to her."
She scoffed, anger evident in her eyes.
"What the fuck are you saying, Connor? Are you choosing her over me? Over us? Again?" Her voice was almost trembling with rage now
"I'm sorry, Tory. But I am resisting you...for her."
